ABOUT THE MUSIC
Red Tail Ring is the musical brainchild of two old-time-minded Michiganders – Michael Beauchamp and Laurel Premo. The collaboration blends the loving attention of revivalist fervor with the playful creativity of starting from scratch. Whether rendering a traditional tune or one of their many original compositions, the duo infuses each song with musical imagination, haunting harmonies and instrumental artistry on fiddle, banjo, mandolin, jawharp, and plain-old foot stomping. “We love pushing the boundaries of what a traditional song can be,” says Beauchamp. “It informs how we write our original songs. There’s a real energy exchange between the old and the new.”

ABOUT THE VENUE
This is a house concert—we do our best to fit as many people as we can and still be comfortable. Because space is limited we require reservations, simply email us at email@example.com to let us know you’re coming, and if you find you can not come, please let us know so we can give your seat to someone else.
We host house concerts to provide an opportunity for folks to enjoy quality music in an up-close and quiet listening environment. While we like to encourage inter-generational activities, we ask that you use your judgement about bringing children.
Directions & Parking
From downtown Kalamazoo, follow Michigan Avenue east. Just after the King Highway turnoff get in the right lane and stay right as you pass under the viaduct (you are still on E. Michigan Ave). Straight through light at E. Main, continuing on E. Michigan — we’re in the next block on the left just past the community garden — look for yellow house with grey fence. Unlimited street parking available on E. Michigan Avenue. Use the arbor entrance from E. Michigan to house.
